Now that you have come to know about the good skills your child must have while studying you also want these to stick around with them for their whole life so that they can be more – competitive, successful and live burdenlessly. Being a parent, who doesn’t want the best for their kid right!? Take a good look at these tips and surely implementing them on your child is going to give you a desired result.

1. Motivating them to study freely, self and with less bondage

Understanding the idea that you need to let them do homework by themselves only. What exactly happens in reality while you are helping them you don’t realize that you keep writing and understanding the whole task and they get indulged in playing around with things. Kids are curious but let them study independently. Tell them about the task and help them a bit consciously realizing only to make your kid understand the task and let them later deal with it. Keep short-time visits so that you can keep an eye on where things going hard on them. Yeah! It’s going to take time but it’s a quality way to promote what u actually want and going to help them for their whole life for sure.

2. Their study spot should be well planned

By well-planned, the purpose is to understand the Spot for studying should be in that corner of your home where your child would be more into studying than sneaking away from the books because that filthy mobile phone is attracting your child to have another round of CANDY CRUSH game and watch their favorite cartoon over the television. So how to choose a space for you kid?

Don’t worry it’s not that much of a plod.

What you got to do is choose a spot where you can keep your child near your sight if he/she is in preprimary or pre-primary stage and if your child is above that stage look or create a spot when your child can sit comfortably, without any distraction (No Tv, computer, tablet, or phone) just their desk and chair where they can sit alone and demanding less to watch cartoon for extra one hour.

This is also important to make sure that the spot you have decided is bright enough to keep him well awake and well ventilated as well please (don’t forget that). Avoid giving them too many snacks so that they just don’t keep eating, yes yes, you love them unconditionally and worry that they don’t study empty stomach but little is enough here.

3. Take a fair advantage of Technology

Technology is crazy!! With so many advancements and happenings in the field of technology, many useful apps are created as well which you can use and suck benefits from. Apps making us people curious already and exploring will make you realize that there are many apps out there that are so cool and fun to be used by kids and side by side will help them learn to modify their brain functioning. Show them good videos, documentaries which can make them curious to learn more which ultimately help them to read more books and reading is a brilliant habit for a child to study.

4.  Set a schedule of his whole day activity routine

According to the age of your child, you should plan out his/her study plan like how much time I should give my child to play and eat so that my child can get enough time to do homework or assignment without running and not grabbing anything. Parents want their child to have quality learning for which time management is a crucial step involved.

5. Putting conditions is also necessary

Listening or reading the word condition can be a bit doubtful and questionable but honestly, this will help your child do what you want them to do. And you only want that- they prefer studying as a good option for themselves. What you have to do is before some tasks you have to put some condition on one task completion, they will get to do what they want to be it playing games or watching tv or anything. With those, they will become more efficient.

6. Reminding them of their tasks and keeping track

Always like always !! make a list of tasks and assignments plus tests that your child must be having. And try to make this his/her habit as well and first thing first kind of stuff. With this keep a good calendar near them so that they can easily compare and analyze how much time span they have got.

7. Setting specific study targets for a day

Sit with your child and set simple day-to-day study targets like the number of paragraphs he/she will be reading or a number of answers or which essay or anything for that particular day. Studying like this will put less stress on them and make learning more fun.

8. Fancy stationery

Parents don’t forget to buy some fancy sticky notes or cards for them on which they can write things that are hard to soak in their head and teach them to make it their habit. Being surrounded with such pretty cool stationary around they will feel enthusiastic to study and work (write on them and look at them again and again.)

9. Encouraging them in any way possible

Children need encouragement in their life and if this comes from their parents, they can do really fine in so many fields viz. Sports, education, or any other activity. Helping them realize about the less expectation theory and accepting failure keeping the right attitude towards social problems or it can be anything. Encouraging them to do good in studies and learning rather than to just getting good grades. Praising them with their little steps and achievements. Encouraging them to listen more and focus on what teachers are teaching in class than to talk more.

10. Taking break is important

A company (friend, classmate, neighbor) to study with him would be a great option too. And get comfortable with him taking shorts breaks and doing stuff like

  1. Playing in the park
  2. Hanging out with dog or pet
  3. Eating, stretching, dancing, singing etc.
  4. Bicycling

Or any activity excluding Cell phone related activities

Conclusion:

Now as you have realized the pros of having good study skills for a child you already know how your child is going to get benefitted by it in his/her development overall. They are going to deal with problems smartly after having these skills. Workload would have least effect on them because they have basic skills which they have been practicing since childhood. Good study skills are very It’s essential for lifelong learners. Finally, All the best parents! & Happy parenting :))
